I have just finished listening to “The Answer: Grow Any Business, Achieve Financial Freedom, and Live an Extraordinary Life” by John Assaraf and Murray Smith.
Wow! This book is a perfect blend of John’s scientific brain research and Murray’s no nonsense, nuts and bolts, straight shooting business acumen.
John’s extensive research actually explains HOW the Law of Attraction works. If you’re like me, having plausible proof makes it ten times easier to achieve the right mindset so I can apply it to my business or my life for that matter.
John covers the first 8 chapters and starts by telling us his story and explaining why he had such a passion for researching just how our world and our brains work. What I love about this is that John explains a very heavy subject in very easy to understand language.
I mean when you have the ability to help anyone understand how “atoms are made of possibility” and about the “Neural Reconditioning Process” you are either very gifted, passionate or both as in John’s case.
Murray takes over in the following 7 chapters. Personally, being a logical, structured thinker myself, I could definitely relate to Murray’s easy to understand business strategies. His marketing knowledge is outstanding and he leaves you with a comprehensive business blueprint backed up by real life examples.
My HUGE lesson from this book is how our habitual thinking is a 1000 times more powerful than our desires which means that if deep down you don’t believe you will succeed, even if you’re not aware you think this, you won’t. This has really made me much more aware of my thoughts especially when facing a challenge.
The Answer is a great read whether you are an entrepreneur or not. I’ll leave you with my favourite quote of the book……….
